Well, it's always interesting to get the morning started with another rant for arming 6 year olds.

Gotta figure out where to start in my reply, Mike. Well, let's see.

First, there is the murder rate as between NJ and Idaho. Perhaps you could offer some sources for those rates. That would start.

Second, I gather you assume there's some sort of correlation between right to carry concealed weapons and lower murder rates. Perhaps. But it takes some nation wide data and some statistical runs. I don't see that in your post.

Third, there are other variables one needs to run, such as population density.

But what sticks in my mind is a picture of a road rage incident in Jersey or Houston (which had a rash of them) or Manhattan or Florida or LA or wherever, in which drivers bail out of their cars blazing away at one another and killing bystanders.
