Belief is not substance.and we can discuss this till the end of time.but i reiterate that the ability to buy and sell futures with out the requirement of being able to deliver or to accept dilivery leaves the market open to speculation and manipulation.remember perception often drives the market rather than reality.at least when there are so many players.
and thank Milton Friedman for pushing to abolish that requirement on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
