Concealed carry probably shouldn't affect any crime rates but street holdups and other street crime.

Indeed, which makes me wonder why it's treated as a panacea. I specifically asked Bill about shopkeepers and carry laws looking for him to connect the dots. He didn't, I think, because there aren't any.
