I didn't get away yet so I will respond.

"It seems you got all visceral about saddam only when bush told you to."

How does it seem so? You must have missed my posts in the 90s when I was protesting the death of innocent children and villagers who were being targeted by the sanctions imposed by the UN/USA. I was a lone voice on SI then, who was pointing out how Saddam was using us to cause the genocide of his enemies across the regions of Iraq. It was a well known strategy of the US (Bush 1, and Clinton) to cause enough suffering to people in Iraq that they would revolt and overthrow Saddam. Easy out for us but on top of being utterly evil, the strategy failed. When asked about 500,000 deaths to innocents as a result of the sanctions, Albright responded, "We think it is worth it."

When and why did you begin to engage this topic... lol ... don't bother dude.

I have never voted for a bush or republican btw. I am sure that makes no sense to you. Everything isn't blue and red (black and white) for thinking people doug. Not being a bush bashing extremist is not equivalent the opposite of a bush bashing extremist.
