Context is everything Mark. Is it because we are driven by principle to stand for liberty and justice for all where ever we have a sphere of influence; is it because we have a historic vendetta; is it because of the corporate interests in play; is it competition over resources, is it bigotry, is it some insidious conspiracy, is it a struggle between global politicians to obtain power and influence for the sake of ego gratification?

The fact is these and other factors all have a role, and will increasingly play important roles for individuals and groups living in a shrinking global community. We can no longer view things as 'over there' since our cultures have all clashed and integrated themselves and will continue to do so at a more and more rapid pace.

Or is it just some odd quirk of bush like doug r. suggested earlier (he says bush wants to infect his troops so their children will die in miscarriage or be born unhealthy or abnormal).
