If it's personal, Ten can just dismiss all arguments against Bush policy as prejudiced. It reinforces his mindset and he doesn't have to look deeper at people's complaints about the issues.

And of course Bush is a shirt sleeve Christian, so he can do no wrong in Ten's eyes.
