Howy, Are you reading that SPX/gold chart wrong ? It shows the price of spx (in gold). Any "uptrend" would reflect an increasing SPX price relative to gold. BUT there is no recent trend. SPX and Gold are flat. Ergo there is no gold bull; it is not out-performing any other asset class. All we have is a fall in currency values, which causes all asset prices to be higher.

Where is the relative strength of gold you see ? Perhaps you refer to the collapse of the SM bubble ?
