Please forgive me for my gross and unconscionable error. I'll try to walk the straight line in the future - we sure would not want Bob Jr. to remove the link to this site from the Bob Brinker web site.

So, in line with my newfound discipline, let me throw out a few observations/questions about the recent direction of Bob's show.

1. A year ago at this time, Bob would not accept questions about specific mutual funds. All callers were advised not to mention the fund names. Specific funds had to be described in terms such as "the huge stock fund out of Boston." Recently, however, Bob accepts questions about specific mutual funds. In fact, he seems to enjoy comparing each fund against the performance of the Vanguard Index funds. The all too familiar story goes something like this: "Let's see, your fund has a three year total return of 75%. Now let's compare that to the Vanguard Total Index Fund, which is up more than 100%. WOW, your fund got stomped by the Vanguard Index fund. Now let's check the expense ratios. WOW, you're paying five times as much ...." My question: Why the change in format?

2. Has anyone noticed that Bob is starting to state his Marketimer recommendations on the radio program. I don't remember him doing that before. Why the change, and does the change bother you as a subscriber?
