If you read the data that you yourself provided, access to guns in Switzerland has been severely restricted. So I have no idea what the relevance of the murder rate to whatever argument you are trying to make would be. The guns held by Swiss households were designed only for national emergency use, and there are penalties for breaking into the ammunition box, which is not supposed to be touched unless there is a national emergency.

Additionally, people who argue against easy availability of handguns in the U.S. typically do so based not only on the homicide rate by guns, but on the suicide rate as well. If you aren't willing to look objectively at the whole picture re guns, you won't be much fun to argue with. Very narrow statistics are often misleading, and the discussion becomes meaningless, and I don't have time for meaningless discussions.
