I guess I am projecting on to you my stereotype of the right on these boards, very defended and never likely to admit they don't know much about something. Sorry. I do have you pegged as somewhat of a right wing apologist, though so maybe I was expecting the worst from you. I will say that I have limited time to be on these boards so I usually skip long posts, and since your style seems to be longer than most I may have skipped many of your posts.

The style of republicans seems to be to deny any effects, just like the tobacco companies deny any long term effects, even though within their ivory towers they are designing their product to be more and more addictive. As long as they have plausible deniability they fall back to that position as a defense, which is what you have done.
