The murder rate in Switzerland is low. But I think you confuse me with someone who cares about that. I think it is totally irrelevant. As I pointed out, the gun SUICIDE rate is extremely high in Switzerland. Switzerland is a very controlled, homogenous society without the extremes of poverty, deprivation, drug or terrorist activity, or clashes between social groups, that usually result in a high murder rate. If you want to talk about gun control in America, that would be slightly more interesting. There are no tidy correlations you can make cross-culturally with gun ownership, re suicide or murder statistics.
