You are mistaken and don't know my position (even though you thought you fully knew it- it's interesting what we think we know about people on SI). I'm not interested at all in talking about gun control though. I think it is a loser subject- on SI, or in 3d. Like abortion, the existence of God, and politics in general, many people who talk about it have a semi-religious take on the subject- and things generally get ugly (even if they didn't get ugly between us, there would be the inevitable ugly comments made by passers by- I think that's one thing one can always count on, and it might even act as a magnet to attract that sort of thing here, which would be especially sad.)
