I have been perusing the ANALysts recently and several have dropped estimates a little do to weaker than expected flash. Some are calling for 10-15% drop driven equally by price and volume. FBR is claiming that AMD motherboard demand in Taiwan is also very weak. We will know next week.

One interesting recent report commented on $0.10 of annual EPS upside if AMD can just penetrate IBM side of Lenovo to same level as its global market share vs. almost 50% share at Lenovo itself currently. Wells thinks that Japan could provide a $100-200 MM of upside with recent actions.

Another analyst thinks AMD is screwed with only 10% of Intel's capacity. Opinions are very varied out there but generally negative.
