You pretended to ask for a to or about, and then declaimed that you didn't mean it. To my mind that is false, and a type of lying. You will no doubt say it was just a game, you didn't mean it, you didn't really ask for that- and so on. A persona who would "play" that way, and talk about "playing" people, as you did (your own words)- is not a "persona" to be evaluated as if they were a normal conversant, who is trying to be basically truthful. If we stack up your ad hominems against "ours" the sheer crushing mass of yours is going to convince anyone that the only person really playing in the ad hominem ballpark, is you.
If you could raise yourself to the level we play at I'm sure Cosmic would appreciate it. Your name calling is unending- we simply doubt your sincerity, which, let's face is, IS relevant to the issue, since taking someone seriously, when they are not serious, is just a waste of time. You've admitted to pretending to take something seriously which you did not- that makes your credibility suspect, and although discussing it is "about you", it's actually not even really an insult- since we both believe that most people are less than absolutely sincere- you were merely intentionally less than sincere. |
