From Phil on the FOOL... This guy spent overnight in the hospital for a minor surgical procedure: ================ Well, the insurance statement came for my surgery today. I was at the hospital about 27 hours, but 10 of those were after the doctor said I was good to go, but the hospital bureaucracy couldn't get the paperwork in order. The total paid to the hospital between me and the insurance: $14,332.47. This is absurd. $439.92 for prescription drugs, not including the anesthesia. This was two pills, since I wouldn't take the wrong dosage of one of my meds that they tried to give me. Phil
