"The western world is a good example." The world of human beings is the world as it has always been period. It is not paradise or eden, never has been, never will be. Human beings live on the continuum from noble and fine, to corrupt and barbaric. Removing individual strength and power only strengthens the inhuman authority. It is a mistake to have an agenda that is designed to subdue every individual. Yes, that is a kind of peace (small p). Easily obtained, hand over your guns, surrender to the nearest coercive authority and live your lives in relative peace and prosperity (as long as you cow tow to the corrupt authority). Peace (capital P) is only available when you live the life of the free and noble human being that you were born to achieve. Freedom is living without coercion from religious authority, political authority, or social authority … all of which are corrupt. With this Peace you are enriched whether walking in rags or robes through castle hallways. Unless or until you can stand against injustice and defy even the entire world if need be for the cause of liberty, you will have no Peace.
