t's not going to happen. Asia, India, South America. Oil consumption is NOT going to go down. I agree that it won't go down soon. In the long run things are hard to predict, and in also presumably eventually oil will run out, or be replaced with something else, but in the short run (which is all we can really predict with convidence on this issue) oil use is only going to go up.
