NASDAQ to ferret out false info and rumors?? BFnD. They and the SEC don't have much of a record , IMO, of keeping up with the MeatSpace violations perpetrated by KNOWN bucketshops and bunko scummers , and now they want to clean up the "net? I think not. Lots of people get bilked in the real world cause there's usually no one who knows better looking over their shoulder. At least here, there's a good chance someone's gonna holler "Foul!". They've spent a million already....on what, publicity? I bet Gartner Group or the Rand Corp put out a report that the policing of false info on the 'net will be a $120MM /yr business by 1998. That's 4,000 companies NASDAQ is policing times $30,000/per that Westy charges.
