I understand your rationalization (word not used in a critical way), but I also understand the test writer's explanation. I should say that theology is not my forte (I'm sure everyone probably knows that already), but if you look at their construct:

You agreed that:
There exists an all-powerful, loving and good God
And also that:
To allow an innocent child to suffer needlessly when one could easily prevent it is morally reprehensible

then God becomes morally reprehensible.

I am really not doing well with the italics, bolding, etc. marks. Are you supposed to select the text you want to alter? Nothing ever happens when I just use the marks that are specified. Could someone lead me through this step by step again? I think I am missing something quite obvious.
