Open Society " Mosenergo " equips the controllers with pocket personal computers (handheld computer). It will allow to improve quality of service of the population of Moscow and Moscow suburbs.
For today practically all controllers of the Center of service of sales of energy in Moscow and Moscow suburbs use pocket personal computers in the work. Now to take readings of 4,5 million electric meters of Moscow and the Moscow area, to controllers "?????????" - structure of Open Society " Mosenergo " on work with consumers, it is not necessary to carry with itself huge books of the account - the information on subscribers is stored(kept) in memory of pocket personal computers.
Advantages of new devices are obvious. First, the information on consumers always near at hand. So, at check of the counter, it is enough to controller to specify the address and a computer there and then will give out the information on last instrument readings of the account, payments and privileges of the subscriber. Earlier for this purpose the subscriber had to call or go in branch " ????????? ". Now any inhabitant of Moscow or Moscow suburbs can receive the information directly from the controller checking his(its) counter. Directly on a place it is possible to count the sum of payment and even to issue a privilege for payment of the electric power.
Second, experts now do not have necessity manually to copy results of checks from the book of the account in a computer. It is enough to connect a handheld computer to a desktop computer and less than in a minute the information on checks will be transferred.
Open Society " Mosenergo " began to introduce pocket personal computers for controllers in April of the last year. Experience has shown, that use of modern devices allows to improve a level of service, to speed up processing the information, and also to exclude mistakes in calculations of payments for the electric power.
