Ron,
Hi!!

I assume this is a math question... :o) NOT my forte'...
But I also assume we're talking about that tug of war again between options and share repurchases?

My comment has always been that you get what you pay for...I'd surely hate to lose some of the outstanding and loyal leaders at DELL that have started with this company and are still in their 40's...Frankly, I don't care how rich they get...How rich did Pfeiffer at Compaq or Carly at HP get while the DELL train ran their visions over?
Sure DELL's management earns a ton from the options...It's the golden handcuffs that keeps this talent in place...The same talent that uses every other companies transition to win market share...
This surely doesn't answer your question...and the debate may go on and on...The catch 22 is that as DELL keeps earning billions...DELL can keep buying back billions of shares...Even if the employees are benefitting to a degree that makes secretaries millionaires...

Best, Kemble
