Among my signed collection, I have John Straley's "Death and the Language of Happiness." Straley is a poet, which makes for tight, concise, and insightful writing, but he is better known for his mysteries. Others in my collection, "The Angels Will Not Care," "The Curious Eat Themselves," and one of my favorite titles of all time, "The Music of What Happens." Straley also wrote "The Woman Who Married A Bear."

Straley lives in Sitka, Alaska. His mysteries are set in Alaska, and anyone who has been there knows he knows what he's talking about.
