If I were AQ, and I wanted to throw a monkey wrench into the gears of the developed world, I'd attack the oil distribution network. A dirty bomb on Saudi Arabia's main oil terminal, a couple of tankers strategically sunk to block the Straights of Hormuz, and oil could easily rise to $200 a barrel and cause a world-wide depression.
