If President Bush Had Lost Ohio....

Then he would have still been re-elected, except that the
Democrats had fraudulently stolen Wisconsin's 10 electoral
votes:

<<<

Federal prosecutors began investigating after the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel found 7,000 more ballots tabulated in that city than people counted as voting, and an additional 1,200 votes from invalid addresses.

Officially, Kerry carried Wisconsin by only 11,000 votes, and Milwaukee has less than 10 percent of the state's voters. The same rules were in effect statewide, but no other jurisdiction's numbers were reviewed by the news media.
>>>

That is how close it came, people; we still managed to get millions more votes than the Democrats, but we came very close to having the election stolen from us. We must have voter reform NOW.

We have to require a valid photo ID, we have to insist upon voter registration being completed at least two weeks before election day, we have to end "provisional ballots" and we have to tighten up the rules of absentee voting. Requiring someone to register two weeks before election day, show a photo ID at the precinct and provide proof of voting eligibility prior to obtaining an absentee ballot does not in any way, shape or form put a burden on any reaonably competant voter. The future of our democratic process requires that we do these things.
