Mohan: You were poster #1 on this thread, and this topic has always
benefited from your periodic visits and input here. The URL you
referenced was, indeed, quite chilling. The stories of easy money
take place in different times and locales; the faces and circum-
stances may vary, but the endings seem to echo a similar note,
a note attendant upon greed become fear and the dashing of
unreal expectations. But surely things are different this time.

On another subject, there was a noteworthy teaser on a recent
financial magazine cover, the name of which publication presently
escapes me. It read: "Invest in Japan before it restructures." (!)
