United States gasoline prices are, and have consistently been, among the lowest in developed countries.

And unlike other developed countries in the world, we have the weakest, most inefficient public transportation system. While other developed countries have taxed gas and used that money to build fast and competitive public transportation, we have done everything to insure that Americans remain dependent on the price of gas. Only a wise one like you would boast about such an accomplishment.
