And unlike other developed countries in the world, we have the weakest, most inefficient public transportation system. While other developed countries have taxed gas and used that money to build fast and competitive public transportation, we have done everything to insure that Americans remain dependent on the price of gas. Only a wise one like you would boast about such an accomplishment.

Not boasting. Just stating facts.

Z is complaining about higher gasoline prices, so is he willing to pay double our current prices to incentivize people to use public transportation?

It isn't that we don't have it; it is that nobody wants to use it because gasoline is so cheap here. But to hear Z tell that isn't the case.

The Left, as usual, is all over the place.
