I really hope you change your mind about Groundhog Day, viewing in the context of moral development; it is really a very funny and clever movie. Bill Murray's character is really disklikable and juvenile, but it is required for humorous effect. I certainly know how humor can ring hollow sometimes. I really wanted to like "I (heart) Huckabees". It never took off for me. I felt really ripped off.

I've got a lot of friends who discovered this movie (GHD) years after it came out, and came to appreciate it.
