Don't really understand how a break lower here would damage anything but the portfolios of current holders. Any basic TA or EW would allow for a drop to the much discussed $HUI 140-160. On the POG E-wave would not signal a LT change ot trend until a break of below the Sept '99 high in the $320s.
Gold stocks have been in a bear market for a year and a half (some for 3 years). The secular bull is still alive and well and a break lower would mean zippo IMO. The only "do or die" here is whether we blast off here and now or suffer another 20% pain over the coming weeks.
