Toyota guarantees its employees full employment through both good and bad times.

Anyone who has worked for a company long enough (IBM is a good example) knows that the word "guarantee" is an unsustainable hoax. What should be said is that the company will do its level best to avoid behaving as though its employees are a commodity to be bought and sold through good and bad economic times..and, the company will manage itself in a competent and responsible way, re: Deming's teachings as CJ has posted.
