You forget.. the ACLU fights for the rights of everyone.
They defended the KKK and their right to march...ETC..

There are many who object to their stand but if you belonged to an organization that was denied something that the Constitution said it had a right to do, the ACLU would be there defending your organization.

They do not pick causes. They are for defending everyone within the guidelines of the Constitution. It has to do with RIGHTS..
