What do you think about shorting the Diamonds? I think you are joking. You are smarter than that to know that diamond is controlled by DeBeers mining which has the world's monopoly. Still don't understand why girls are mesmerized by diamond ring. Once her boyfriend bought that solitaire ice to put on her ring finger, she has lost the economic value of that diamond - faster than the depreciation of a new car driven from the show room -. One smart Oklahoman (is this oxymoron?) woman was given a choice of a diamond ring or a piece of land for her engagement. She chose the land, cultivated and made a lot of money, then the oil company found oil on that land.
