The Boy Scouts have been filled with pedophiles for decades. My scout master abused dozens of boys and was never disciplined. A boy ended up being killed.

Still the need is there for such organizations. Just have to be very careful about who you trust your kids to. Same with which ministers you trust. If they ask you for money all the time, stay away. Religious are not supposed to be for-profit, but many of them are. All donations to churches should be completely voluntary and not from the government. When the churches and governments re mixed, we open a pandora's Box.
