I guess you don't understand from where I am coming. I know these strategy memos exist. Its unfortunate but its a reality of life in the big city. What annoys me is that the GOP lied twice......first they denied that the memo existed, and then they said the Dem. were the authors of such a memo. This is SOP for the GOP and it stinks.

Look at CJ's post. Martinez has a history of writing obnoxious memos and then denying them.

Let me reiterate, the situations were identical, and both times the Republican staffer took the knife. If you do not see that both times the staffer who produced the memo was out of line then there is no hope for you ever to depart the leftmost decile of the political spectrum.

Yeah, and at first, I was amazed that the staffer resigned.....after all, he was a senior person. But then I realized.........it was all for show......not for the Dems or the rest of us but for his religious right constituents, of which he probably has many. So I am not impressed with this resignation. I just want the GOP to stop its baldfaced lying all the time. Its getting real old.
