At this time, we are in a concrete block home, but it is 15 miles from the coast, and is on the highest point of Hillsborough county. All of 40 feet above sea level. So I guess your home can deal with storms pretty well. where there are still some of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I can see the Blue Ridge off in the distance out my window at work. Tim
