Duke, FedEx just bought 55,000 NCs, and is building Java apps for them. My friend has been writing C code for years, he thinks enought of Java to start learning it. Forgot the name of the bank, or was it Visa that is going to embed Java chips in its cards? Yea, Java is slow, but chips are getting mighty fast, and its new, but it is evolving, and don't forget, there are far more embeded chips out there than Intel computers. Doren
