Thank You for the change of pace. First to answer your questions. We are currently making two lines of premium cigars, Don Carlo and Adolfo. As we are selling all the cigars we can produce, at this time we haven't had the need for a catalog program. It would be my pleasure to send you some samples of both our lines, along with a price list and some order forms. We are excited about some of our unique marketing plans and would gladly share this information with you . If you e-mail me your address, you will have the pleasure of smoking one of the finest cigars ever made. DON PLATTEN

Leaders, dreamers, inventors, aspiring professionals and all who desire achievement must understand the first step is to make a binding commitment to invest their life and talents towards all pursuits deserving their best efforts. Some people play with their heads, and sure, you need to be smart to be number one in anything you try. But most important, you've got to play with your heart. If you're lucky enough to find a guy with a lot of head and a lot of heart, you'll never come in second.

RTHERB,
I think it's great that your bringing some fresh ideas to this board. It's even more refreshing that we have a CEO that is even listening to us on this board. Congrat's Don keep it up! I'm impressed with what I've seen so far. I too have been around since the PRTI days and have never seen this kind of response from the company itself. I'm eager to hear some of your marketing plans for the company. I also welcome a stockholder's meeting and financials. Don, Is it still on for October 3rd? I'm sure many of our questions will be answered by the financials and information coming out at the stockholders meeting.
BTW....How much do these Don Carlos sell for retail/wholesale? Are they marketed throughout the US or is marketing currently limited to certain areas? Are they only sold to distributors or can a store owner or individual purchase them?
I would also be happy to help the company out and see that samples go to some potential outlets in the Denver area. They are very popular hear!
Thanks Mike
Subj: Adolfo/Don Carlo(s) ? Date: 97-09-04 10:31:46 EDT From: C Von Thun
I went to my local cigar shop to see if I could partake of the the fruits of the worst investment I ever made. The fellow there had not heard of Adolfo's, but he did have a Don Carlos cigar being sold as a Fuentes. I purchased a corona.
I borrowed his copy of Perelman's Cyclopedia of cigars and could find neither Don Carlos nor Adolfo.
So the question to the board is this: What are these cigars actually called, what are the channels, and do they ever make it to Denver. If the answer to the last is no, then somebody call me or MPWeber so we can help get the word out.
P.S. I've owned 3000 shares since last year, and all I can say about recent events is thank God Reyes is gone. Anybody who considered an honorary doctorate anything but an honor couldn't possibly be real.

Don Carlo is a pending trade mark brand made by Dominican Cigar Corp. There are over 300 retailers currently selling our brand in the greater New York Metropolitan Area. It would be great to develop the same program in the Denver area and would welcome involvement with yourself and M.P. Weber. It has great personal earning potential. Adolfo - In 1963, Adolfo began dressing the world's most distinguished women. He achieved his fame by making clothing for the Duchess of Windsor. Adolfo is the owner of Adolfo Enterprises. His company manages 29 licenses in women's and men's apparel, accessories, hosiery and perfumes. Today Adolfo's collections are prominently displayed in Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, and all other prestigious American specialty store establishments. You will see the Adolfo line by October 15. This line is also available to distributors in your area. Ask M.P. Weber for some samples, which are on the way!
Thanks, Don Platten

Ya know, I kinda LIKE this Platten guy.
Keep up the good work answering the board, Mr. P!! What a refreshing change!! Imagine, actual honest, open responses, with REAL information in them!!
So Mr. Platten, are you saying that you are a licensee of the Adolfo name? Does Adolfo get a royalty, or a one-time fee? Thanks!

Don,
I still can't believe that we have such a responsive CEO. It's like night and day from what we have been used to. Please keep it up, we are all very impressed so far!!!!!!!!!!!
I for one will do all I can to help our company out, as I'm sure many other stockholders will also! I'd be happy to pass some cigars along to C Von Thun. We just happen to be longtime friends. I'm the one that got him into TACN in the first place, so I hope he still considers us friends!
Don, I'm a little curious about current marketing efforts and of course your future plans also. Other than the Adolfo deal what is the company doing to market it's product throughout the US and abroad? Is the New York Metro area the only location that they are currently sold? Does the company have the current ability to increase production and if so by how much?
Thanks for all your communication with us stockholders!!!!! Mike

Peter, after thinking about your request, maybe you would like to see a copy of our agreement with Adolfo. No problem, just send me your address and I will be happy to send it to you.

Mike, I think it will be a little clearer to you tomorrow when you receive your package of cigars and an outline of the programs that our company has available. Our present factory produces 65,000 cigars a month now and we have purchased another factory that can produce approx. the same amount. My friend, if we sell more, trust me I will make sure we make more!!!
