You’re halfway there. If we accept the fact that Carter inherited certain historical trends, and I do, it follows that Bush inherited a 9/11 conspiracy that predated his administration and an economy and stock market that were already in free fall. Right?

As for Carter’s Christianity, it has nothing to do with the fact that he is or is not a “good man” at a personal level.
