mindmeld, RE: Now for fact based evidence, which trumps your anecdotals. Private schools have a higher college matriculation rate, higher SAT scores, higher average post-education earnings rate, and a lower drop-out rate. All of this is directly correlated to the higher quality teachers in private schools. Ergo, private schools have better teachers.

You are talking about data samples that are clearly not controlled.

The private schools kids have been culled from a larger database. THAT, first and foremost, is why you see all the better numbers that you refer to. They come from more two parent households with more money, on average, than public school kids. And those factors are highly correlated with all the data you're looking at.
