Most of the time, the hard part of a trade is establishing when to get out.

With forks, you simply use the lower tine as a trailing stop.

You will not have the maximum amount of possible gain. But the gain that you achieve will be of a more conservative, consistent nature.

Forks help to quickly establish that a new trend exists and to work within that trend to its end.
