Why do you think it is appropriate to assume Tiger Woods is ignorant of the physics relating to golf? He seems a pretty intelligent fellow and has undoubtedly studied his game and profession very seriously.

Is it because he's an athlete that he should be assumed (until proven otherwise) an ignamorus - or is there another reason?
