In this summer's proxy statement, there were 3 institutions listed as having substantial positions in CTEC.

Kaufmann Fund: 1,000,000 shares (8.9% of outstanding shares)
U.S. Bancorp: 661,000 (5.9%)
T. Rowe Price: 650,000 (5.8%)

In the 1996 proxy statement, there were no institutions listed. So the story is getting out.

I have been a shareholder in CTEC since the fall of 1993, and I have never seen such volume. Nearly 10% of all outstanding shares traded yesterday. Can institutions be such lemmings that they were all waiting for a break-out in order to pounce at the same time? Or are rumors circulating about a takeover? (They can have my shares at 27.)

Meanwhile, let's enjoy the ride.

John
