Heston was speaking metaphorically about lynching Gore. If you'd had any kind of education, you'd know what that meant.

I said tolerated lynching had passed in 1957. The perpetrators of violence in the '50's and '60's were mostly prosecuted - as they should have been.

We don't know what Heston said to Moore because Moore is a lying fraud.
