I'm trying to help a 21 year old kid. He got in trouble stealing. His parents threw him out and somehow he's latched onto me. He really does respect me and he tries to follow my advice. He's homeless now, but I can't take him into my home since I have a daughter to take care of. He's wants his GED and he's making probation payments. He's just a scrawny little thing, if he goes to prison they will tear him up. I don't know much about social services. Could somebody point me in the right direction to find some assisted housing in the Garland/Dallas area? I really want to help this kid. * * *
