Well you refuse to answer the question, and ignore my point that not all Iraqi civil defense workers need SWAP-type training, so I'll make my point clearly.

Some of the jobs done by coalition forces require much less than one month of training, and manning a roadside checkpoint is probably one of those jobs.

Therefore, there is no reason to be shocked that in some cases Iraqi civil defense training has been cut to 8 days. Common sense tells you the position (checkpoint staffer) of the Iraqi guy with 8 days training takes is probably much different than the position (paramilitary Iraqi SWAT force) of the Iraqi guy with 8 months.
