There is no Intel person identified there but no matter.

I'm not surprised as I've heard them say it's a volatile business to be in. Sometimes you make money, sometimes you don't. The fact that they may not be making money today is no indication whatsoever about previous quarters.

I suspect that it tells you:

#1 Intel's Flash has never been profitable throughout it's history.
#2 The recent statement here that Intel lost $800 million was correct to the penny.
#3 Intel is dumping Flash on the market for the sole purpose of harming AMD.
