Wits Basin Precious Minerals Announces Appointment of a New Board Member
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 7, 2003--Wits Basin Precious Minerals Inc., f/k/a Active IQ Technologies, Inc. (WITM - news) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Zoran Arandjelovic of Toronto, Ontario as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company.
Mr. Arandjelovic is the president and chief executive officer of Capital Z Corp., a venture capital firm. Mr. Arandjelovic has gained extensive experience in a variety of business enterprises, including, as a real estate broker in industrial and commercial properties and as a financing specialist for leading contractors in the home building market in the greater Toronto area. Most recently, Mr. Arandjelovic has been contributing his entrepreneurial and managerial skills to companies with leading-edge technologies, and has successfully facilitated a number of high-tech financial transactions. He sits on the boards of a variety of public and private companies including Martinrea International Inc., (MRE - news) .
