However, there is the perception........and no one is sure how accurate it is.......that demand is close to supply.

Do you realize how your writing indicates you have little understanding of economics. Demand = supply in 99% of industries, price is the thing that changes.

As for INTC, it is in a monopoly position (> 50% of cpu market share), in its industry so of course it exploits that situation. ALL monopolies (defined as companies with > 50% market share) do the same thing.

What in the world do you teach????
