Ephud:

You can look it up:

Q4:
intel.com

Q3:
intel.com

Q2:
intel.com

Q1:
intel.com

As you can see, when flash revenue is constant, division (ICG) losses are constant. When flash revenue rises in Q2 to "take share", losses go up. When flash sells from inventory, losses go down, but still happen. When subdivision other than flash move as in Q1 2004 to IAG, loses rise (Q4, 2003 had lower ICG loss due to unit still being there which moved in Q1 2004 to IAG). Thus showing that subdivision was profitable.

Also notice in:
intel.com

Processors are the only thing made in 300mm plants at 90nm. Intel has three with fourth being brought up. Flash was at 130nm on 200mm wafers only. As are embedded CPUs on 130nm on 200mm wafer plants. Chipsets, comm chips and others are made on 180nm, 250nm and 350nm lines on 200mm wafers. Your claims that 300mm fabs make chipsets, flash, etc., are just plain wrong. The only thing made in those 300mm plants are CPUs. Going by your output calculations for AMD on Intel shows that they must have awesomely poor yields. Just another place where you lied repeatedly and frequently.

You can also look into 2003 where flash was in WCCG where flash made a majority of the revenue and the losses.

Here is an analyst that Intel is subsidizing flash from CPUs which wouldn't be necessary, if Intel was making money on flash: viewfromsiliconvalley.com

I can get more. Can you show an analsyt who says Intel is making money in the flash subdivision? You have yet to do so.
