Each sector will have its time when the circumstances are right. No different than with the gas & oil sector and inparticular, GENTRY.
However, if you're out of the golds now, stay with GNY 'til May or June. We will know by then if there's a major discovery in the works. And until then you have the best chance of tripling your money without a major discovery.

As far as the golds go, it's a sector problem more than individual companies, so will have to wait until the gold market rejuvenates. When? Could be 3 years or it could be 3 months.

Some stocks that will take off when the international situation firms up in the junior area are: ESX,V R,T GNM,T SAG,T

I believe that the smart money is in gas & oil now and will get a super burst this winter. GNY's potential is now even more potent as a result of Gabon and its new freedom to open up their full exploration & development capacity. You've got much more potential and safety with the oil option than any other area currently.

I have been accumulating Essex shares for two years, mostly at under $1.50. They have properties in 3 main areas of the world and the development will heat up in '98. It's a great price between $1.00 - $1.25. If you can ever get any under $1.00 get all you can. When the gold mkt turns upward again, esx can go to $7.00 easy with any signs from any one of their properties.

Good luck,

Mark
